Senior Consultant - Real Estate Advisory Health
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Real Estate Consulting (REC) team. We work with health and social care clients nationally to identify and test the feasibility of real estate investment opportunities, helping clients build the case for change and make the best real estate investment decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation of business cases (SOC / OBC / FBC), estate/property strategies, property target operating models, and change management
* Contributing to healthcare estate planning and development projects and infrastructure programmes
* Developing healthcare estate strategies and authoring business cases using the HM Treasury 5-case model
* Understanding and supporting business case development stages from Project Initiation to Full Business Case
* Engaging with clients at all levels, managing client relationships, and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams
* Demonstrating programme/project management, capital projects, and contract management skills
* Handling data sets and analysing/presenting data to inform proposed solutions
* Travel flexibly as required and adapt to new sectors or environments
You & Your Background
We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated, flexible and has excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels and nurture relationships.
Qualifications
Essential
* Bachelor’s degree
* Project Management qualification (e.g., Prince2, MSP) or equivalent experience
* Business Case Writing skills or equivalent experience
* Experience working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams and managing change
* Project management planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of the HM Treasury 5-case model and experience supporting business case authoring and development
* Experience working with large and complex data sets
* Excellent interpersonal, persuasion and influencing skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships
* Financial literacy and commercial understanding; ability to analyse and present data to support evidence-based solutions
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly to changing project requirements
* Good data management practices
Desirable
* Relevant industry qualifications (Surveying, Engineering, Financial, Accounting)
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Better Business Case Accreditation
* Experience of strategic infrastructure programmes in large/complex organisations
* Project management experience in Health or Social Care services
* Ability to lead and develop Business Case for major capital investment opportunities
* Data analysis skills using tools like MS Excel or Power BI
