Scheme Manager : Part Time
Cheveley, Newmarket
GBP 13,533 : GBP 13,951 per year
20 hours per week : Monday to Friday (flexible hours)
We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our Housing Operations team, based in Newmarket. As a Scheme Manager you will join a team of 10 and be responsible for providing a high:quality housing management service which will include providing tenancy advice, following up repairs for residents and promoting independent living. This is a rewarding role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older people in a housing management or care setting and aware of safeguarding concerns.
The role of Scheme Manager will include:

Supporting residents by providing information to promote independence

Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
:
Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion
:
Delivering high quality customer service by resolving problems and complaints
:
Maintaining accurate records about residents and the scheme
:
Covering other schemes as and when required
Skills and experiences:
:
Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
:
Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
:
Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
:
Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
:
Good interpersonal and customer care skills
:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
:
Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
