Overview
Senior Residential Child Care Worker role within the Children\'s Residential Service, East Lancashire, offered by Lancashire County Council. Salary £31,067 - £35,235 per annum. Permanent, full-time 37 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of Residential Childcare Workers.
* Champion the care, safety and development of children with complex needs.
* Implement care plans, promote education, and support emotional wellbeing.
* Play a central role in inspections, safeguarding, and care planning.
* Model best practice, integrity and compassion in everyday duties.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years\' experience in children\'s social care or residential settings.
* QCF Level 4 or NVQ Level 3 or 4 in a relevant field.
* Confident in leading shifts, mentoring staff and managing risk.
* Understanding of children\'s legislation and safeguarding practices.
