Join the family We're looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our setting at The Cottage, Heavitree

Job Summary:

The role consists of 40 hours across 5 days. The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction and supported to flourish in an environment which promotes each staff member to be the best version of themselves.

You will have the following experience, skills and attributes -

* Have a full and relevant level 2 qualification (minimum) in Childcare.
* Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.
* Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to support staff in using the framework.
* Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice.
* Ideally previous experience in a similar role
* Be a good team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit family
* Have the ability to use initiative and to create inspiring and creative activities
* Be positive, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children
