Job Vacancy: Warranty Advisor / Warranty Admin Location: Yorkshire (covering Leeds and Sheffield, plus our other Ford dealers in the North) Department: Aftersales Salary: £26,667 to £32,000 depending on experience Hours: 42 hours per week, between Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00 About the Role We are on the hunt for a Warranty Advisor with experience in automotive Warranty claims and processes to come and join the fantastic team at our Leeds Ford dealership. You will be based within our Aftersales Department and will be part of an enthusiastic and friendly team who will be there to support and guide you through your new role. The Manager will impart their knowledge and experience allowing you to develop your skills and establish a long career within the Automotive industry. Don’t forget you will also have a supportive team around you to help you along the way! Our Warranty Administrators and Advisors are fundamental within our Warranty department! Day-to-day they are primarily responsible for processing warranty claims as well as liaising with customers both face-to-face, over the phone and via email. We are looking for an individual with a customer service background “serviced” to perfection! Key Responsibilities Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories that will benefit the customer Maintaining accurate customer records, and updating the systems when any bookings have been made Examine completed warranty repair orders and preparing claim forms & supporting material Ensure maximum return from the manufacturer - for all warranty work including the issue of credit notes and associated paperwork Review warranty reporting systems with the line manager to identify improvements where possible and administer warranty policy in the best interests of the Dealership, manufacturer, and customer Keep accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections, and customer contributions toward goodwill claims Ad-hoc administration tasks as given from the Aftersales Manager Skills & Competencies Exceptional communication skills, with a customer-first approach Strong teamworking abilities, alongside effective organisation and time management Confidence working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Warranty administrator experience gained from a leading automotive dealer is desirable. Technical knowledge would be an advantage also.
