Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)
Newcastle (Walker area)
£13 - £15 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
We are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant on behalf of a small, unique, community-focused primary school in the Walker area of Newcastle. The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to deliver both general as well as one-to-one support, working as part of an established team. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This school operates within an ethos emphasising both caring and quality support to deliver an excellent pupil development programme. The school is ideally seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant, however would be open to other teaching qualifications and experience if relevant.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children
2. Experience of working with children with SEN/ SEMH needs
3. A passion for ensuring the progress of pupils
4. An ability to work as part of a team
5. Ideally Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, however other relevant teaching qualifications and experience is applicable
