Duties
* Assist the Service Department in managing daily workshop operations
* Allocate work to technicians efficiently to maximise productivity
* Support the Workshop Controller in maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
* Liaise with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs and updates
* Monitor workshop workflow to ensure timely completion of jobs
* Maintain accurate workshop records, including invoicing and job documentation
* Support in training and mentoring junior staff members
* Promote health and safety practices within the workshop environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Assistant Workshop Controller, or similar role in the automotive sector
* Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repairs and servicing procedures
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to motivate and lead a team effectivelyFull UK driving licence
* Knowledge of manufacturer standards and workshop management systems
* Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills and customer service focus
