TeacherActive is working in partnership with a welcoming 3-form entry Primary School in Oldbury, who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to start in February 2026.
About the Role
This is a full-time, long-term position, running for the entire academic year, offering 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with Autism who is non-verbal. Consistency, patience, and relationship-building are essential in this role, making it ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education.

The Ideal Learning Support Assistant Will Have:
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
The ability to follow guidance from the class teacher and work collaboratively
A warm, patient, and positive approach
Strong relationship-building skills to help pupils feel safe, comfortable, and confident
A reliable and committed attitude
