Senior Software Engineer – AI Innovation Lab
£110-125,000 +

We’re partnering exclusively with a leading global SaaS Scaleup business as they continue to build out a newly established Innovation lab, a dedicated team focused on applying AI and machine learning to solve valuable business problems across the organisation.
This is a hands-on Software Engineering role, part of a growing team, where you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to reimagine their systems using modern tools and cloud-native architecture.
You’ll be building from the ground up in a greenfield environment, using technologies like Python, TypeScript, FastAPI, AWS and some Azure while contributing to projects that have direct commercial impact.

The ideal profile:
* 6+ years’ engineering experience, with strong backend skills (TypeScript, Python)
* Familiar with modern cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), microservices, and infrastructure as code
* Comfortable working closely with stakeholders and leading on tech decisions
* Pragmatic, product-minded and always looking to solve real-world problems with elegant solutions
* Bonus: experience with LLMs, agent-based systems, or front-end tools like React/d3
