About the Role
We are seeking an influential, commercially minded Head of HR Business Leads to shape and drive our people strategy across our UK & Ireland Business areas. This role will support all functional areas and Brands i.e. Linde, STILL and Baoli across all UK & Ireland locations.
This is a pivotal and highly visible leadership role which is ideal for someone who can challenge the status quo, navigate complexity, and champion an exceptional employee experience.
You will lead our HR Business Lead teams, partner with senior management and brand leadership, and play a critical part in creating a high‑performance culture that reflects our group values and winning behaviours. Through thoughtful leadership, you will support managers, guide organisational change, and strengthen employee engagement.

About You
You will thrive in this role if you are an outcome‑focused HR leader with strong influencing capability and a passion for building an excellent employee experience. You bring credibility, confidence, and a strategic mindset combined with the agility to be hands-on when needed. Ideally based in the North West of England, there will be a requirement to travel across all UK & Ireland locations business needs require balancing in a hybrid fashion.
What You’ll Bring
* Significant experience in a senior HR leadership position, ideally multi-site
* Degree in HR, Business, or equivalent professional experience
* Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and influencing skills
* A strategic mindset with strong execution and critical thinking abilities
* Confidence to positively challenge, innovate, and propose solutions at a senior level
* Experience within a sales/service or engineering environment
* Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations, including TUPE
* A continuous improvement mindset with proven success improving HR processes and ways of working
* Focus on driving the right solution by working collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders
* Proficiency in HR systems and tools (e.g., Workday, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
* Strong problem-solving ability and a learning‑oriented approach to challenges
