The Job Youll Do; Overseeing the smooth day-to-day production process involving 30-40 shop-floor staff and 4-5 direct reports Ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Driving a continuous improvement culture using KPIs and lean initiatives Acting as a role model and leader, motivating teams across all levels and setting a good example Reviewing the manufacturability of products and how this affects project schedules and deadlines Managing site production costs About You; 3 years experience in a management role within a fast-paced production setting An understanding of fabrication, welding and CNC processes is desirable The ability to motivate staff and be present on the shop floor An understanding of continuous improvement strategies is beneficial (Six Sigma, LEAN etc.) Possess drive, passion and energy to drive processes forward The ambition to take the step up to Operations Manager & Director in the mid-long term A strong communicator at all levels
