Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Band 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our lovely team at Sunshine Day Nursery / Sunshine Holiday Club in York. This ongoing locum opportunity offers a fantastic chance for a Level 3 qualified childcare professional to earn £15.71 hourly, working full-time or part-time in a supportive and friendly environment from 8am to 5pm. What you will do:
* Provide high-quality care and educational activities in accordance with the EYFS and Ofsted standards.
* Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports child-led learning.
* Act as a key person for allocated children, diligently completing observations and development records.
* Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
* Uphold safeguarding practices and report any concerns appropriately.
* Mentor and supervise Child Care Assistants, students, and bank staff as needed.
* Maintain accurate records, registers, and relevant nursery documentation.
* Participate in daily routines including hygiene, meals, housekeeping, and health & safety tasks.
