SHE Manager (Safety, Health & Environment Manager) Crick, Northamptonshire | Permanent The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced and passionate SHE Manager to join our Crick Manufacturing site. This is a key role where you'll lead our Safety, Health and Environment agenda, driving continuous improvement and ensuring our colleagues, operations and site remain safe, compliant and always progressing. What You'll Be Doing Leading Safety, Health and Environment performance on-site to meet agreed KPI targets. Managing and maintaining all SHE policies, systems and procedures to ensure full legal compliance and alignment with group standards. Overseeing incident management processes, including investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective action planning. Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of SHE incidents to relevant regulatory authorities. Leading the site audit programme and driving improvements from audit outcomes. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships (HSE, EA, customers, local community). Developing and deploying the site's annual SHE plan alongside the Leadership Team. Embedding SHE requirements into Capex projects in line with group policy and insurer expectations. Driving a strong behavioural safety and environmental awareness culture across all functions. Acting as the site's subject matter expert on all SHE matters and providing coaching and guidance to colleagues and leaders. About You National or professional qualification in Health & Safety / Environment (ideally degree level), or equivalent experience gained in a manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of current SHE legislation and regulatory requirements. Proven experience driving SHE performance and leading improvement initiatives. Confident in influencing, engaging and coaching colleagues at all levels. Effective communicator with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships. Proactive, solutions-focused and able to work both strategically and hands-on. Passionate about creating a safe, compliant and positive working environment.
