Food Technology Teacher – Starting September Solihull Competitive daily rate / salary dependent on experience From September 2026 Full-time (flexible options available) Looking for a Food Technology teaching role in a supportive secondary school environment? Smile Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Soihull seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons that inspire students to develop their culinary skills, nutrition knowledge, and confidence in the kitchen. This role would suit an experienced teacher, ECT, or a teacher returning to the classroom looking for a positive and supportive working environment. The Role Teach Food Technology across KS3–KS4 Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Food Technology lessons Develop students' understanding of nutrition, food preparation, hygiene, and healthy eating Support student progress and assessment through practical and written work Maintain high standards of behaviour and health and safety within the food technology classroom Work collaboratively within the wider Design & Technology department✅ What We’re Looking For QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Excellent knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and kitchen health and safety Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable approach Why Join Smile Education?
