As a Gearbox Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in our high-performance team. Working at the forefront of motorsport innovation, you will own the design and detailing of gearbox components and complete transmission systems — from initial concept through to racetrack performance. This involves:
* Design and integration of precision gearbox and transmission systems, including metallic and composite components
* Influencing and guiding design, feasibility, compliance documentation, and assembly
* Close collaboration with cross-functional departments to optimize integration, ensure reliability, and uphold the highest quality standards in design and manufacturing

What do you need to bring to the team?
Experience in high-performance motorsport or automotive engineering is essential, preferably in Formula 1®, WEC, Indy Car or similar categories. You must also have:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ experience in the end-to-end design and integration of precision gearbox and transmission systems under high load and temperature environments
* Strong proficiency in CAD (preferably Siemens NX or CATIA 3DX or similar), with in-depth knowledge of GD&T and complex tolerance stacks
* Sound understanding of structural design, rotating systems, lubrication, and FIA technical regulations
* Experience with carbon composite gearbox housings and hybrid system integration is desirable
