Overview
Fundraising Officer role at English Heritage. You will support the Fundraising team across Philanthropy, Grants & Trusts, Regional Partnerships and Prospect Research, contributing to a range of fundraising streams to support English Heritage’s ambitious plans.
The role is full-time (36 hours per week) and permanent, based in London (6th Floor, 100 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7AN). Salary from £29,891 per annum pro rata for 36 hours per week. This position offers opportunities to visit heritage sites and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day team administration, including coordinating meetings, maintaining accurate CRM records, and managing internal and external communications.
* Support fundraising colleagues by drafting and editing proposals, compiling funder reports, and delivering stewardship activity.
* Coordinate agendas, logistics, and action tracking for team meetings and away days.
* Draft and edit compelling proposals and donor communications; create visually engaging documents to support fundraising activity.
* Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
* Collate documentation to support funder cultivation and project stewardship; ensure data accuracy across systems.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable office and administration experience.
* Experience using databases or CRM systems to manage records.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
* Confidence in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About the role
You will oversee day-to-day administration, maintain CRM records, support fundraisers with proposals and funder reports, and help deliver stewardship activities. You will also coordinate internal communications and support the team by drafting visually engaging documents to back fundraising efforts.
