Secondary schools across Oldham are currently looking for confident, reliable graduates to join their supply teaching pool from September 2025. As a Graduate Supply Teacher, you’ll deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups when teachers are absent. You’ll be expected to keep students engaged, manage behaviour in line with the school’s policies, and ensure that the lesson runs smoothly — but you won’t be asked to plan or mark work. Full training and induction are provided, and you’ll be matched to schools that suit your preferences and availability.
This is an ideal role for graduates who are considering teacher training, working towards a postgraduate qualification, or building experience for roles in education, youth work, or the public sector. It’s also a fantastic way to gain paid experience in a structured environment while building transferable skills such as communication, leadership, and adaptability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
