Head of Production – Nightshift

In this role, you will be based at our facility in Enstone.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, this role will effectively manage and lead employees across our nightshift to ensure production targets are met alongside creating an efficient, quality-driven team.
You’ll achieve this through building strong relationships across the nightshift team and embedding a culture of teamwork.
Your challenge:
* Day-to-day management of nightshift employees, creating an environment of collaboration and engagement.
* Participate in staff selection, development, training, and performance to attain business goals and expectations.
* Allocate responsibilities, tasks, and targets to ensure efficient operation of departments.
* Support the fulfillment of production targets set by Programme Management across the shift.
* Resolve issues and challenges encountered during nightshift considering people, business impact, and performance.
* Processing of production actions where nightshift cover does not currently exist (works order management, ERP transactions).
* Identify areas for improvement and suggest resolutions to improve throughput on the nightshift.
About You
We are looking to enhance our team with someone who is a passionate people manager with the drive to achieve production targets. You’ll have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, with great attention to detail and high-quality standards.
You’ll have the ability to lead shift activities, providing an effective environment for the team.
