We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Water Hygiene Technician to join our team based in Bournemouth. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £24,088 - £25,103 per annum.
About the role:
As our Experienced Water Hygiene Technician, you will perform legionella control tasks for our customers, including water temperature checks, water system dosing, shower head and TMV servicing, among other water hygiene tasks. Most sites are based in the South of England; we are seeking engineers in locations such as Taunton, Devon, Basingstoke, or Wokingham.
What you’ll be doing:
* Undertaking regular temperature checks, flushing, sampling, and record keeping on customer properties and sites.
* Performing complex cleaning and disinfecting of hot and cold-water systems and cooling systems.
* Servicing and maintaining TMVs and shower heads.
* Fault finding on customer sites and implementing corrective actions for first-time fixes.
* Working with the scheduling team to plan, complete, and load jobs efficiently.
* Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues to meet contract requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Escalating missed tasks, concerns, or compliance issues promptly.
What we are looking for:
* GCSEs or equivalent, grades A-C.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Level 2 NVQ Plumbing (desirable).
* Water Hygiene knowledge (desirable), but full training will be provided if needed.
