Responsibilities
* Running all aspects of the salon including Front-of-house / Reception / Operations
* Ensuring all clients are treated as VIPs with the utmost care and respect
* Managing Front of House, reception, stylists, beauty experts and junior staff
* Liaising with stylists and beauty experts to ensure that the diary is always accurate
* Supervising front-of-house team to ensure continuous first class customer service
* Dealing with e-mail and telephone enquiries
* Possess excellent product knowledge to upgrade client services and maximise sales
* Liaising with suppliers, ensuring any special deals are utilised
* Maintaining stock levels and stock orders, minimising wastage
* Ensuring the salon is kept immaculately clean and tidy at all times
* Cashing up daily takings / banking when the Receptionist is off
* Dealing with any salon maintenance requirements
* Dealing with all health & safety aspects within the salon
* Reporting back to Directors with any staff issues
Hours
Rota 1: Mon (9-7), Tue (8-7), Wed (11-8), Thu (11-8)
Rota 2: Mon (9-7), Tue (8-7), Fri (11-8), Sat (8-7)
Requirements
* At least 5 years’ experience held as a Senior Salon Receptionist or Salon Manager
* Outstanding communication and organisational skills, demonstrating integrity
* A positive team player with the ability to manage and supervise staff
* Familiar with software systems and spreadsheets
* Pro-active, able to multi-task and work well under pressure
