Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team at the Thames Refinery. This role is responsible for the accurate receiving, checking, storage and movement of goods and materials from vendors, ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with safety, quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
5. Maintain the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Hygiene and Environmental compliance
6. Receive, inspect and correctly store goods and materials (MRO & materials) delivered by vendors
7. Accurately process goods receipts, goods issues and stock transfers using SAP
8. Carry out physical inventory counts and stocktakes, investigating and reporting discrepancies
9. Ensure timely and efficient receiving and dispatch of goods to maintain inventory accuracy
10. Optimise weekly delivery schedules in collaboration with the Materials Management team
11. Ensure all required documentation is received and completed (e.g. delivery notes, CofA, certificates of conformance)
12. Liaise with Packing Area Managers and the Quality team to ensure correct storage, product control and swift resolution of quality issues
13. Ensure full traceability of inbound materials in line with specifications
14. Support internal and external audits and site visits
Skills, Experience & Attributes
15. Good numerical and English literacy skills
16. Strong computer literacy, with the ability to handle data quickly and accurately
Experience with SAP, Windows and Microsoft Office is beneficial
17. Good interpersonal and communication skills
18. Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise workload and multitask effectively
19. Proven teamwork skills and flexibility
20. Forklift Truck Licence (essential)
