Role : Claims Adjuster Location : Remote Employment Type : Full-time Compensation : Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range : $55,000 – $90,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits. Role Overview We are hiring a Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims. The role combines investigative rigor with empathetic communication — moving claims to resolution efficiently and fairly. Key Responsibilities - Investigate claims by reviewing documentation, conducting interviews, and gathering evidence - Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages against policy terms - Negotiate and settle claims within authority limits - Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, and third-party experts as needed - Maintain accurate, timely claim file documentation - Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and unfair claims practices Required Skills and Qualifications - Active adjuster license in your jurisdiction - 2 years in claims adjusting (auto, property, casualty, or workers' comp) - Strong investigative and analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal communication, including negotiation - Familiarity with claims management systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, etc.) - Detail-oriented with strong file documentation discipline What You'll Bring - Sharp analytical thinking and an instinct for spotting anomalies in data - Strong written communication and the ability to translate numbers into narrative - High attention to detail and unwavering accuracy under deadline pressure - Comfort working asynchronously across time zones What We Offer - Fully remote, flexible work hours - Performance-based bonus structure - Annual learning & development stipend - Health and wellness benefits (varies by location) - Opportunity to work on high-scale, real-world impact projects Equal Opportunity Statement This is an equal opportunity role.
