What You Will Do: * Conduct hands-on testing, strip-down, and diagnostics on rotating electrical units — including starter motors, alternators, and Valeo’s 48V Integrated Belt Starter Generators (IBSG). * Investigate warranty returns, identify root causes, and provide clear technical reports to support quality improvement. * Accept or reject warranty claims in line with company policies, aiming for a 48-hour turnaround on decisions. * Liaise with customers to explain claim outcomes and advise on best practices to reduce future failures. * Collaborate with internal quality teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives across products and processes. * Manage inventory and warranty unit movement using SAP business management software. What You Will Bring: * A practical understanding of vehicle electrics and fault-finding — experience as an auto electrician, technician, or diagnostic engineer is highly desirable. * Strong logical thinking and diagnostic ability, with a hands-on mindset. * Good communication skills, able to clearly explain technical issues internally and externally. * Familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems like SAP (training provided if needed). * A proactive and quality-focused approach, with an interest in developing your technical skills.
