Responsibilities
* Lead global pricing strategy and execution in alignment with overall commercial objectives.
* Strengthen pricing discipline and performance across markets by supporting and challenging commercial leaders.
* Design and implement internal, data-driven pricing tools (e.g., price waterfall, price variance analysis, global growth room for price impact).
* Conduct root cause analysis and develop strategic pricing countermeasures for pricing gaps.
* Build and govern pricing frameworks, processes, and training to elevate pricing maturity.
* Collaborate with Product Management to maximise value pricing and price realisation.
* Lead and develop a team of pricing and data management professionals.
* Partner with regional and country-level commercial teams to tailor pricing strategies to local market dynamics.
* Define and manage global pricing governance, including CPQ setup, discount corridors, and escalation processes.
* Analyse and report pricing KPIs and trends to senior leadership.
* Drive adoption of Price Waterfall methodology globally.
* Develop scalable tools for price monitoring and impact modelling using ERP data.
* Collaborate with IT to harmonise pricing-relevant data across systems.
* Provide strategic coaching on pricing execution, segmentation, and value-based pricing.
* Guide pricing strategy during annual financial planning and ensure smooth regional execution.
Essential requirements
* Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
* Minimum 10 years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management in B2B industrial/manufacturing.
* Proven team leadership experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple ERP systems.
* Proven expertise in Price Waterfall methodology and B2B pricing models.
* Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or internal platforms; pricing software experience is a plus.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
