About the Role
As a Bank Regional Care Assistant with Barchester care homes, you'll deliver warm, empathetic and respectful care and support across a 20‑mile radius to help our residents get the most out of life. It's a very varied role that will see you provide cover as and when we need it.
* Monitor the delivery of care when on duty.
* Contribute to the person‑centred care planning process for each resident.
* Record observations on such things as temperature and blood pressure.
* Provide support and companionship, ensuring every resident enjoys meaningful one‑to‑one time with our carers.
About You
We value background in care and a good understanding of elderly care.
* A Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, would be useful.
* Ideal candidate will have a C or above in GCSE English and Maths.
* Dedicated, compassionate and passionate about supporting residents’ wellbeing.
* Flexible and willing to travel across the area; own car or ready access to one required.
* Willing to work varying hours and days as a Bank position, covering annual or sick leave.
