As an Equipment Supervisor/ Technician Supervisor you will be depot based overseeing the build, test and inspection of many generators - you will be on the tools helping in busy periods and in the office keeping the team rolling by ordering spares, looking after HSEQ and more. Duties and responsibilities of the Equipment Supervisor/Technician Supervisor Supervise the preparation, quality and dispatch of generators Produce accurate reports on dispatched and returned equipment Carryout PDI's on gen sets, ensuring perfect operation of all aspects prior to dispatch Keep accurate records of equipment, maintenance requirements, spares and materials Supervise team and sub-contractor labour ensuring sufficient personnel and time is allocated to meet project deadlines Identify and plan works in a methodical manner to meet equipment dispatch targets Identify, order and keep records of any required stocks, spares or replacement parts required for use at the depot Liaise with logistics team to ensure correct transport is booked and ordered Take control of the HSEQ in the workshop ensuring the team is safe Qualifications and requirement for the Equipment Supervisor/Technician Supervisor Hold a Full UK Driving Licence Minimum of a NVQ Qualification Ability to read engineering drawings This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role.
