This is a high-impact, call-focused sales role where no two days are the same. As an Internal Sales Executive, you’ll be at the heart of our growth by j—picking up the phone, building relationships, and driving new business. You’ll speak directly with prospects to book quality appointments for our Business Development Managers or close sales yourself, depending on the opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Dealing with inbound web enquiries, ensuring all qualified opportunities are routed to the appropriate teams with all relevant notes provided. Allocating to the field sales team for those with >100 employees and selling directly to those prospects with Focusing on outbound calls to generate appointments i.e. to those that have been previously closed as lost, to old leads, new data bases, into existing customers for expansion and other activity as appropriate. To source and identify new business sales opportunities through targeted campaigns via various marketing mediums. Develop relationships with potential clients and identify prospective customer needs, understanding business processes, identifying projects, determining requirements, and ascertaining potential solutions. Tender research - assessing the value of potential tenders and maximising platforms where appropriate Assist with account management for smaller customers and others segments as required by the business. Assist with existing customer expansion for larger accounts from time to time as required. For all opportunities that are sold directly, that the appropriate solution is proposed, quotes are issued on time and all follow-up is undertaken to ensure agreed conversion levels are achieved Assist with existing customer expansion for larger accounts from time to time as required Preparation and presentation of proposals as required. Work closely with the Sales Director to develop the process and activities, where your recommendations and input will be valued, to ensure activity remains relevant to the market and performance is maximised. General sales administration as required. Requirements: Capability and flexibility in adopting new skills to understand the value of robust sales processes. Target driven- results orientated and resilient. A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, with outbound calling experience. Initiative- Self-motivated with an ability to take a lead and thrive in a result driven environment. Able to work independently and create new tasks for completion without the need for on-going instruction Communication- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Organisation- exceptional organisation skills and ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively Familiarity with using CRM software and driving performance through pipeline management.
