Partnerships Officer
Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Offiver to join our team remotely, based within the North. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £22,000 - £24,000 per annum.
Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.
As a Partnerships Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in developing, managing and delivering a range of national Fundraising events by working closely with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to strategically plan and deliver national fundraising events, ensuring that all available opportunities for raising funds for Human Appeal are sought and delivered at agreed levels of return on investment. As well as developing new innovative fundraising opportunities, in order to build awareness of Human Appeal projects and increase income generation/donations year on year to secure the long term financial sustainability and growth of the charity in line with Fundraising strategy.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Events Coordinator:
6. Contribute towards and implement the Annual Fundraising Strategy for National Events team
7. Take responsibility to follow and expand the current fundraising programme to meet and exceed agreed targets, by achieving donation income growth, donor growth (Year-Over-Year) and meeting annual income targets
8. Successfully develop a strong fundraising portfolio to lead and support in house Fundraising teams during events
9. Ensure national Fundraising events are well supported, run effectively, regularly, in accordance to the National Fundraising Strategy
What we’re looking for in our Events Coordinator:
10. Ideally educated to Degree level
11. Minimum GCSEs in Maths and English.
12. Minimum of 2 years in a similar post
13. Proven track record of project and events management
14. MS Office Suite
15. Competent user of Social Media
16. Experience using Donor Management systems,. Salesforce, is desirable
17. Fluent English is essential. Additional languages such as Arabic, Urdu are desirable
