Working Conditions
Location: Speke / Wymondham (remote working available with occasional office travel required)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexibility on hours available)

Your Responsibilities
As our Drainage and Water Design Team Leader, you will:
* Lead a small team in delivering high-quality drainage and water design solutions for residential, educational, and government projects.
* Act as the technical and delivery lead for assigned work packages, ensuring designs meet programme, budget, and risk commitments.
* Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and wider Kier Design and Construction teams to enhance team capability and build strong client relationships.
* Implement standardized delivery processes to improve efficiency and promote best practices across projects.
* Manage lump-sum Design & Build work packages, proactively addressing short deadlines and stakeholder requirements.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* Proven experience leading and developing small, technical design teams.
* Strong skills in managing programmes, budgets, and risks across building and development projects.
* Experience in client and stakeholder management, with a focus on clear communication.
* A track record of delivering high-quality drainage and flood risk solutions.
* Knowledge of SUDS, Planning Policy, Building Regulations, and flood risk strategy approvals.
* A full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
