Job Description A Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required for a leading manufacturer based in Birmingham. The A Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and safety of all factory machinery, plant equipment, and facilities. This is a hands-on role focused on preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement to maximise uptime and support production efficiency. Package: Paying up to £48,000 Week A: 7-4 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-1 Week B: 11-8 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-1 Ongoing training and development opportunities Maintenance Engineer Role: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across factory machinery. Fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability. Support equipment installations and commissioning of new machinery. Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel Strong capabilities in both Mechanical and Electrical Requirements: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment Recognised qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotic systems desirable. Strong understanding of TPM / PPM systems, health and safety procedures, and contractor management Be able to commute to Birmingham and are happy to travel
