Overview
The role of a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare involves supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. About the role
* Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.
* Other responsibilities include: supporting residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
* Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
* Keeping the front of house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
* Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
* Being aware of residents’ dietary requirements.
About You

* Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
* Experience in a similar setting, such as a restaurant or hotel, would be desirable.
* A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
* Demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.

Qualifications
* Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
* Have previous experience in a similar setting such as a restaurant or hotel.
* Ideally hold a basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Demonstrate a compassionate and committed approach to delivering culinary services to the residents.
