We are currently recruiting for an IT Support and Helpdesk professional to join our IT team in our Banbury office.
This exciting position at our growing and ambitious law firm in the heart of England will be joining our small, in‑house IT team based at our Banbury head office. Our IT Systems are looked after by a small friendly in‑house team which consists of four staff in Banbury. The team ensure everything from support and training to project management or development is carried out to our highest standards. The IT teams are continually striving to provide excellent customer service, with all support issues logged and prioritised within our dedicated helpdesk system.
We are looking for an IT Support professional with 2+ years’ experience. It is a fully on‑site role, working directly with staff across our six offices to provide hands‑on first and second line support. The role operates on a rota basis covering core hours between 8:00am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional travel to other offices may be required, and there may be infrequent instances where extended hours are needed to complete planned works; these will be agreed in advance with the IT Manager.

Responsibilities of the role would include, but are not limited to:
* To work as part of a team using the internal helpdesk system, to log and respond to requests, managing incidents through to resolution.
* Liaise with suppliers and external support providers when required.
* Provide a pro‑active attitude to systems and technology for adoption by the firm.
* Deliver support, training and coaching to users helping them to make the most effective use of their current systems.
* Help to maintain security and compliance across the network and devices.
Knowledge & Skills
* 2+ years experience in IT – Essential
* Excellent problem solving skills – Essential
* Use of security products/policies – Desirable
* MFA, Conditional Access, and Endpoint/Cloud security administration – Desirable
