Job Description
3. Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
5. Prepare and execute payment runs in a timely manner.
6. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable activities and transactions.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to address and clarify invoice-related queries.
8. Assist with month-end closing activities for the accounts payable ledger.
9. Support the implementation of process improvements within the accounting function.
10. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:
11. Experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles.
12. Strong proficiency in financial systems especially SAP and tools, particularly in invoice processing.
13. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under time constraints.
14. Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
15. Knowledge of financial regulations relevant to accounts payable processes.
16. Effective communication and collaboration abilities across teams.
