Technical Manager – East London
A new opportunity has arisen for a Technical Manager to join a leading residential developer delivering a landmark long-term regeneration scheme in East London. This is a rare chance to play a key role on an enormous 15 year mixed-use development that will transform a significant part of the capital.
The scheme is already well underway with a well established team in place, offering genuine longevity and progression for the right individual. With the Gateway application submitted and construction expected to commence in a couple of months, this is an exciting time to join the project at a pivotal stage.
The business is widely recognised for delivering high quality, sustainable homes and large-scale regeneration projects across London. They are seeking a confident and experienced Technical Manager to lead and coordinate the design process from pre-construction through delivery.
Key responsibilities:
• Leading the technical and design coordination across the scheme
• Managing architects, engineers and external consultants
• Overseeing the Gateway process and ensuring compliance
• Reviewing and approving technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring information is coordinated, accurate and aligned with programme
• Supporting site teams throughout the construction phase
• Managing risk, value engineering and technical problem solving
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery
This role would suit an experienced Technical Manager with a strong residential background and proven experience delivering large-scale London schemes. Open to Senior Architects or Directors currently working within an architectural practice who have led high-rise, multi-unit RC frame residential or mixed-use projects and is looking to step into a client-side role.
Salary up to £93,000 + package (doe).
