Cherry Fields Primary is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Club Manager to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, working weekdays from 14:45 to 18:15.
Your opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the After School Club at Cherry Fields Primary, creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for our children. As After School Club Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and long-term development of the provision, planning engaging activities, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring high standards of care. You will also work closely with parents, staff, and the wider school community to support each child's wellbeing and development, while overseeing administration, safeguarding, and staff supervision. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in children’s lives within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
What we are looking for
* Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
* NVQ Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent)
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training
* Ability to build positive relationships with children and encourage engaging, inclusive play
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Friendly, approachable, and resilient with a supportive team spirit
* Committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
