This is a temporary post until 31 December 2026. To provide a Technical Administration service across a number of frontline functions by providing technical support to specialist departments within the Highways and Neighbourhood Services, as well as undertaking a full range of clerical/administration duties. We are looking for someone who: has previous experience of working in an administration environment has experience of dealing with members of the public on the telephone has experience of database systems and reporting techniques. use of MS Office IT systems has the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines and performance targets has good numeracy & literacy skills is able to produce accurate work has experience or knowledge in Highways & Neighbourhood Services or similar frontline service area has the ability to work under pressure has experience of computerised financial systems has the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team has knowledge of the Data Protection Act.
