6. Proactively Manage Risks - Identify, track, and resolve potential roadblocks before they impact delivery.
7. Champion Quality - Implement best practices and rigorous quality checks to uphold excellence.
8. Drive Agile Excellence - Facilitate Agile ceremonies, promote Agile principles, and optimise team performance.
9. Focus on Outcomes - Align solutions with customer needs, ensuring measurable value and business impact.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Delivery Manager should have:
* Proven Expertise - 5+ years of experience in Project Management and Delivery using Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies.
* Thrives Under Pressure - Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments while maintaining focus and efficiency.
* Strategic Problem-Solving - Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to risk management and mitigation.
* Inspirational Leadership - Ability to motivate, mentor, and manage delivery teams to drive successful outcomes.
* Exceptional Communication - Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
* Collaborative Approach - Experience working closely with developers, third parties, and business owners to deliver solutions.
* Tech-Savvy - Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, and other Agile delivery platforms.
