We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Towy Vets.

Shift pattern
Monday – Friday, with shifts between 08.00 – 18.00 and a share in the Saturday 08.00 – 12.00 rota

About the Role

Day-to-day duties
* Answering phones and booking appointments
* Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
* Registering new clients
* Completing insurance forms
* Dispensing medications
* Taking payments
* Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
What we’re looking for
* Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus
* Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
* An excellent communicator with strong empathy
* Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
* A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
