* Uncover the Secrets of the Earth: Delve into the depths of the ground, planning and executing detailed field investigations through drilling and analyzing samples of deposits or bedrock.
* Supervise and Strategize: Take charge of ground investigations and budgets, ensuring the efficient and effective management of resources.
* Material Mastery: Advise on and test a range of construction materials, including sand, gravel, bricks, and clay, providing valuable insights to optimize project outcomes.
Preferred Requirements:
* Expertise in earthworks, geotechnical, and supervision, ensuring seamless site operations.
* Proficiency in planning and executing detailed field investigations, including drilling and sample analysis.
* Proven track record in supervising ground investigations and managing budgets effectively.
* Extensive knowledge in testing and recommending a diverse range of construction materials.
* Ability to provide sound advice on the proposed use of a site, guiding project decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on geotechnical engineering.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Site Geotechnical Engineer, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
