Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for: The daily planned maintenance of electrical assets across the site which includes power distribution systems, HV/LV motors, actuators, switchgear (up to 400kV), generators, etc. Leading a team of technicians and apprentices, whilst working closely with 3rd party contractors on site. Collaborating closely with the Control & Instrumentation Team and the Mechanical Engineering Team. Have full control of the electrical maintenance budget Deliver planned maintenance on time and in line with the company standards. Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Ideally a Degree in a Electrical Engineering discipline however, would consider those with a HND/HNC/NVQ Level 3, etc. A formal Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH is required as a minimum Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who has: Prior Electrical Engineering experience working in heavy process engineering environments such as Power Stations, Paper Mills, Top Tier COMAH sites, Refineries, Petrochemicals, etc. Experience working with High Voltage (HV) systems up to 400kV would be ideal.
