Shift Options Available:
Work Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off
* Static Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
o Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour (with a 1-hour unpaid break)
* Static Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
o Pay Rate: £15.63 per hour for hours worked between 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
o Remaining 3.5 hours paid at £12.50 per hour
Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Driver to join our team in Barnsley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, and put away stock in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a reach truck to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
* Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
* Ensure the accurate placement of stock within the warehouse.
* Conduct routine inspections of the reach truck to ensure safety and proper functioning.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse policies.
* Assist in inventory management and stocktaking as required.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
Qualifications:
* Valid reach truck license is required.
* Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good physical stamina and capability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Competitive pay rate of £12.50 per hour.
