Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes & surrounding areas
Salary: £38,000 – £48,000 OTE (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
This is a mobile position covering Milton Keynes, working within 30 minutes of your home address, with any additional travel fully paid.
Working a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am–5pm)
Optional evening and weekend work available
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting an Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer to carry out EICRs and electrical testing across domestic social housing properties in the Milton Keynes area. This is a permanent role offering steady work, realistic workloads, and long-term stability .
Key Responsibilities
Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Electrical testing and inspection to current regulations
Identify defects and accurately record findings
Complete reports using digital systems
Carry out minor remedial works where required
Work independently while meeting quality and safety standards
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360 / 2330 Part 1 & 2
City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installations
Full UK driving licence
