Job Description
This role is a commercially and operationally focused Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst position, responsible for tracking and analysing Head Office Marketing expenditure and campaign performance, alongside the analysis and presentation of financial data to support decision‑making. The role is based in London and will work closely with finance teams in LA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide key support to the FP&A Director, including oversight, support, and review of work completed by the Finance Intern
* Deliver management accounting for Head Office Marketing and Film Operations costs, including tracking, incorporation of changes, and clear communication with Los Angeles–based finance teams
* Support the Head Office Marketing team by tracking and analysing spend by title and evaluating key release campaign strategies
* Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of film print costs, with ownership of Head Office print cost tracking and analysis
* Own the weekly reporting process for International Box Office performance, including downstream window analysis
* Prepare and present EMEA Finance Management reporting packs, incorporating analysis of profitability, territory growth, and foreign currency movements
* Prepare, review, and communicate ad hoc financial reports, tracking schedules, and scenario analyses to studio stakeholders
* Actively contribute to annual budgeting and long‑range slate planning processes
* Provide Accounts Payable (AP) support, including Purchase Order (PO) process guidance and training
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
* Studying towards or part‑qualified in a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar finance OR FP&A role
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
* Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a proactive approach to learning and development
* Proven ability to work collaboratively as a reliable and effective team player
* Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems (desirable)
