Workshop/Fleet Manager opportunity
Are you an experienced Workshop Manager or Fleet Manager with a strong tools and maintenance background? Do you thrive in hands:on roles, leading teams, and keeping operations running smoothly? We have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic recycling company on a hybrid contract basis. This role has the potential to go permanent for the successful candidate (to be discussed at interview)
As our Workshop and Fleet Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and management of our fleet and workshop operations. This is a key role where your technical expertise and leadership skills will directly impact efficiency, safety, and the sustainability of our operations.
Workshop/Fleet Manager Key Responsibilities:
: Lead and manage workshop operations, ensuring all maintenance work is completed efficiently.
: Oversee fleet management, including scheduling, servicing, and compliance.
: Manage a team of technicians, drivers, and workshop staff.
: Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained to high standards.
: Implement processes and improvements to optimise workshop and fleet performance.
Workshop/Fleet Manager Key Skills/Experience required
: Strong tools and mechanical background essential.
: Previous experience in workshop or fleet management roles.
: Experience within the recycling, refuse, or waste sector is highly beneficial but not essential.
: Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
: Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on:site management with administrative responsibilities.
