NHS Golden Jubilee is seeking a new Radiology Manager with strong leadership and organisational skills to lead and develop our Radiology team.
NHS Golden Jubilee provide imaging services for Health Boards across NHS Scotland, as well as hosting regional and national specialist cardiac imaging services. The imaging department consists of 2 (soon to be 3) CT scanners, 4 MRI scanners, 5 Cath labs, 3 Ultrasound rooms, 4 plain film rooms, a DEXA room and 1 dual purpose imaging/fluoroscopy room, as well as hosting the National Ultrasound Training Programme. The service also provides inpatient and theatre imaging for NHS GJ patients using mobile units and image intensifiers.
As the Radiology Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation and day-to-day running for the provision of imaging within the hospital. You will work in conjunction with the Diagnostics Service Manager and a team of Modality Leads to provide collaborative leadership and support to the Radiology staff, whilst developing and growing the Radiology services in line with the strategic direction of the department.
We are looking for a candidate who works with a high level of autonomy and is able to make complex decisions whilst prioritising their workload. As the Professional Lead for Radiography, you will have a high level of knowledge and expertise to guide decision making and provide support to service users, senior management and the Radiology team.
