Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced legal professional to join our Intermediate Track Team in a dual‑capacity role that blends technical expertise with hands‑on case management. This position is ideal for a solicitor or CILEX‑qualified lawyer with litigation rights who thrives on complex litigation work and enjoys mentoring others.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of Intermediate Track cases.
* Provide technical supervision and mentoring to team members and the wider practice.
* Draft high‑quality legal documents, including pleadings, interlocutory applications, supporting statements, and other litigation paperwork.
* Advise on complex litigation issues, procedural strategies and risk management.
* Contribute to team development by sharing best practices and delivering training sessions.
* Ensure adherence to professional standards, regulatory requirements and internal compliance frameworks.
* Collaborate with management to improve processes and enhance client service delivery.
Experience & Knowledge
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with litigation rights.
* Proven ability to manage a personal caseload effectively.
* Strong drafting skills for applications, pleadings and supporting documentation.
* Demonstrated experience working to performance targets and KPIs.
* Excellent time‑management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of delivering clear, practical guidance.
* Strong problem‑solving ability and commercial awareness.
* Collaborative mindset with a commitment to team success.
* Interest in emerging technologies such as AI (desirable but not essential).
