Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things organised, clean, and running smoothly?
We’re on the lookout for a reliable Plant Yard Operative to join a busy Plant Yard and Workshop team.
If you enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors with machinery, and being part of a team that keeps everything ticking, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Steam cleaning plant and cabins returned from site
2. Loading and unloading plant and materials from lorries
3. Keeping track of what’s coming in and out of the yard
4. Helping out with deliveries, collections, and general workshop duties
5. Supporting engineers and the parts team when needed
6. Making sure the yard is clean, tidy, and safe
What We’re Looking For:
7. Experience in a heavy plant or similar environment (an advantage but not essential)
8. Physically fit and ready for active, outdoor work
9. Confident using a forklift or other yard equipment
10. A team player with good organisation and timekeeping skills
The Details:
11. Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per year (depending on experience)
12. Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
