Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker post within the Children’s Complex Care Team.
The post will encompass a variety of shift patterns within a team comprising Clinical Support Workers and Registered Nurses. The post entails providing care for highly dependent children in their own homes.
Responsibilities
* Provide care for highly dependent children in their own homes as part of the Complex Care Team.
* Work within a team comprising Clinical Support Workers and Registered Nurses.
* Be flexible with shift patterns; there may be opportunities to work over and above contracted hours.
Qualifications and requirements
* The successful candidate must have a caring disposition and demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, patience, flexibility and reliability. Ability to respect client confidentiality and to work as an integrated team member.
* Previous experience in a similar role, working in a community setting and with highly dependent children would be advantageous.
* SVQ in Health and Social Care at level 3 is desirable but not essential as all relevant training will be provided.
* Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
