Job Summary
Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor 30 hours per week, fixed term 24 months.
We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our Occupational Therapy team at the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven as an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor.
Main duties of the job
The Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor will assist the Occupational Therapist to carry out delegated duties within the acute team at the West Cumberland Hospital. The role involves supervising and instructing patients in activities relating to their treatment programme, regularly providing feedback to the Occupational Therapist, and working collaboratively with the wider health and social care network across North Cumbria. The position offers substantial professional development opportunities, a strong focus on CPD, high‑quality clinical supervision, an excellent induction programme and ongoing professional support.
