Job Introduction
This service is in the heart of Bedlington and will consist of 12 self-contained apartments. And will provide intensive housing related support for adults who may have enduring mental health backgrounds, autism, learning disabilities or physical health needs.
As a Support Worker, you will make a real difference to peoples lives and you may also make a positive difference to your own life. Please note that experience in the mental health sector is essential. Some of our service users demonstrate challenging behaviours as part of there ongoing mental health recovery. This can manifest in extreme cases as self harm and emotional instability. Therefore the right candidate will need to possess a deep level of empathy, understanding and patience.
Shift Patterns
This is a 24-hour service; therefore, flexibility is essential. There will be a range of shifts available including waking nights and sleep ins.
